FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS IN RIFLE, CO

  • HOW IS A WELL CONSTRUCTED?
    The drill rig bores a hole then installs casing allowing a submersible pump to be installed. Mother Nature determines if we can install PVC or if we need to install steel casing. If the hole will stay open, the PVC can be installed. If not, steel casing will have to be used.
  • HOW DEEP WILL MY WELL BE?
    Depth of the water can vary greatly in just a short distance over the surface. A neighboring well can give an estimate but there are no guarantees until the well is drilled.
  • HOW MUCH WATER WILL I GET?
    Again this can vary greatly in just a short distance over the surface. The only way to know for sure is to drill.
  • HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
    We construct most wells on a per foot basis. Therefore, the total depth of the well will determine the cost. There are different costs associated with the installation of PVC or steel.
